Slim Aarons, born George Allen Aarons, was an American photographer noted for photographing socialites, jet-setters and celebrities.

Aaron’s photo shoots were always relaxed and informal. He employed no stylists and enforced a strict no make-up or primping rule prior to his shoots.

In a revolutionary break from the style of his time, Aarons always looked for the real and intimate look from his subjects, capturing celebrities during their everyday lives and in their natural environment, wearing their casual outfits rather than their public relations wardrobes. He made his career out of what he called "photographing attractive people doing attractive things in attractive places."
