It may be the grey rainy London landscape but January blues struggle is real! A sunny sky, blue sea and white sand is everything this winter needs and our current obsession: Bazaruto.  Not your typical Thailand, Mexico or even the Caribbean but nonetheless beautiful.

If words can't convince you, we'll let the pictures do the talking.

CAMPAIGN: BALMAIN SS16 - THE RETURN OF THE SUPERMODEL

Move over social media queens, the supermodels are back!

For the new SS16 campaign for Balmain, Olivier Rousteign brought back our favourite 90's supermodels: Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell and Cindy Crawford. I guess it is safe to say that it is the season for surprises.

"When I was a schoolboy in Bordeaux, it was their editorials that first made clear to me the amazing transformative power of fashion," said Rousteign.

The campaign which was shot by Steven Klein - sees all Claudia, Cindy and Naomi - who are in all their 40's - looking incredible, proving that they're still just as good in front of the camera as they were in their heyday.

"To say that working with them was a dream come true is no exaggeration.", noted the designer.

VIDEO: THE HEROINE BY BRUCE WEBER - LOUIS VUITTON SERIES 4

Following the preview of the Louis Vuitton SS16 campaign, a brand new visual dubbed “The Heroine” has been revealed.

The film also shot by Weber in Tampa, Florida, captures the liveliness of the youth of today’s generation.

Taking a closer look into the looks of the new collection, we can also see Jaden Smith who according to Vuitton, is  "the young hero of a new generation that worships stylistic freedom".

LOUIS VUITTON 2016 ADS: FINAL FANTASY & JADEN SMITH

Like many others, Louis Vuitton creative director Nicolas Ghesquière took it to Instagram to reveal the upcoming SS16 campaign starring Final Fantasy XIII protagonist Lightning.

An unexpected direction for the brand who, for the past three seasons, accustomed us with fairly traditional campaigns. For Lightning, in other hand, it wasn't her first time being featured on fashion luxury ad as the character had previously starred in a Prada men's campaign for Arena Homme Plus in 2012.

Working with video game artist Tesuya Normura of Square Enix, the heroine wears looks from the latest collection including bags and crop tops. As Guesquiere said backstage of his Spring 2016 show “We are all living with this new dimension. We are all managing how to integrate these new notions of digital, virtual, and cyber with our real life,”.

But the surprises did not end there, this week the brand revealed its new campaign image featuring Jaden Smith wearing a pleated skirt and posing alongside models Sarah Brannon, Jean Campbell, and Rianne Van Rompaey, photographed by Bruce Weber.

Nothing new in a boy wearing what media outlets call “womenswear”, the novelty is a non-indie label like Vuitton embracing non-traditional themes and being a conversation starter on controversial topics.

Perhaps, Louis Vuitton is transforming the heroes of today’s youth into luxury brand heroes, too.
